What is appresh?
appresh is the simplest gifting service in the UAE. Now, you can appreciate small moments in a meaningful way by sending small gifts digitally using your preferred messaging app.
What does appresh mean?
appresh is a much better way of saying ‘appreciation’.

What kind of gifts does appresh offer?
appresh offers gifts across different categories, like food meals, cinema tickets, entertainment tickets, gaming gift cards and others. To view the list of brands we offer products for, visit our brands page.
How do I purchase an appresh gift?
All purchases will be done from your messaging application. Once you find the right gift you want to purchase, click on the “BUY” button to proceed with the purchase. The button will also show you the price of the gift.
How can I send the gift voucher ?
Once you finish the purchase process, you’ll instantly receive the gift voucher inside the messaging app as a simple image, you’ll also be asked if you want to email the voucher to anyone. You can either forward the gift voucher directly to the recipient, or you can enter their email address, and we’ll send the voucher directly.
Can I use the gift voucher in countries other than UAE?
Currently, we only operate in the United Arab Emirates. We’ll be looking into expanding to other countries at a later stage.
Can I personalize digital gift voucher?
Yes. During the purchase process, you’ll be asked to enter a personal message that will be printed on the gift voucher. It’s highly recommended to add your own personal message (with emojis too). If you don’t wish to write any message, we’ll just show them “You got a gift”

Do you deliver the gift to the recipient?
No. We want to give the recipient the freedom to redeem their gift at their convenience. We only issue digital gift vouchers for certain products, those vouchers will be exchanged for the gift later on. However, we can send the digital gift voucher to the recipient if you choose to.
Do you have a mobile app?
No! We only operate our gifting experience over messaging applications. We don’t want to confuse people with new apps to download and learn. We’re with you on platforms you already know and are familiar with.
How can the gift recipient redeem their voucher?
The redemption instructions will be printed on the digital gift voucher. The redemption is typically done by presenting the voucher code to our merchant (for physical gifts) or by entering the code online (for virtual gifts)
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
I cannot see Apple Pay or Google Pay buttons, how can I use these for payment?
When the payment page opens up, click on the menu button and choose “Open in Safari” or “Open in Chrome”. This will cause the page to open in your mobile browser. On that page, you will find the Apple Pay button (if you’re using iOS) or Google Pay button (if you’re using Android or Windows).
What is your refund and return policy?
All gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be returned, as per our merchants’ policy. Once the gift voucher is sent to you, the redemption code is revealed, which cannot be undone. It’s you like you already opened the box.
Would the recipient of the gift get a notification instantly?
Once you finish the purchase process, you’ll receive the gift voucher on the messaging application instantly in most cases, you’ll be asked if you want us to send the gift voucher to an email address, you can either send the gift directly to the recipient by sharing the voucher like you share any photo, or you can enter their email address and we will send them the voucher by email at the same time
If I choose to email the gift voucher to the recipient using appresh, would the recipient of the gift get a notification instantly? Or can I as a buyer set it for a certain date/time?
The gift voucher will be sent immediately to the recipient by email. We’re planning to add the feature of scheduling the gift voucher delivery in the future
How long is the digital gift voucher valid for?
Gift voucher validity varies from one product to another, some of the voucher do not expire at all! The validity will be printed on the gift voucher.
Can I exchange my gift voucher Card for its value in cash?
No. The gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
